Trowbridge

News

In October 2010 I had my first book signing, which was at my local Waterstone's bookshop in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England.

I had invited a lot of people and advertised through the newspaper and thankfully there was a really good turn out. The newspaper was interested in the gentle environmental message the novel conveys; that we should care about our world like the Roumanhis do, and try to look after it.

I have to admit I was nervous sitting near the door with my newly printed novel, a bowl of mint imperials and my business cards facing the crowds, but the experience was really enjoyable, and my success put Liberation at the top of the store's science-fiction sales.

This is me at my book signing table with all my advertising paraphernalia and the bowl of mint imperials.

Top of the science fiction sales, Autumn 2010. I was so proud.

Very surreal to see a dream becoming a reality; surreal and extremely rewarding.
